jahsonic:Mona Lisa smoking a pipe [1] (French: Mona Lisa fumant la pipe) is a work of art by Arthur Sapeck (Eugène Bataille), first shown in 1883 at an “Incohérents” exhibition. It was reproduced as an illustration in the journal “Le rire” in 1887.
This ‘augmented’ Mona Lisa directly prefigures the famous Marcel Duchamp image L.H.O.O.Q. of 1919. See also anti-art
